Dr. Meghanne Kruizenga

Dr. Meghanne is a wife and a mother of two, so she understands the value placed on family care. She also knows how important it is to be able to trust your provider to offer a high level of care with integrity. Dr. Meghanne’s desire is to form lifelong relationships with her patients based on trust, kindness, and compassion. She is a pediatric dentist who is passionate about helping children have a positive dental experience. Her ultimate goal is to equip parents and patients with preventive information to empower them to maintain a healthy smile and a high level of oral health.

Born and raised in California until she was 15 years old, Dr. Meghanne then moved to North Carolina where she graduated from high school. Her interest in the field of dentistry began as a child when she saw her uncle go through dental school. At a young age, she would beg her grandmother to play “dentist” with her. As a high school student, she started shadowing at a nearby dental office through her health occupations class, which confirmed her desire to go into the field. She returned to California for college and earned her undergraduate degree in Psycho-Biology from La Sierra University.

Dr. Meghanne received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007 from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.  While in dental school, she received the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and The American Academy of Oral Medicine Award for Excellence and Achievement in Oral Medicine. Following graduation, she entered private practice as a general dentist. She discovered after two years as a general dentist that her true passion was treating children, so she then pursued further education.

In 2011 she completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.  She earned a Master of Science in Dentistry Degree along with her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Then in 2012, Dr. Meghanne completed her Board Certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She always looks forward to attending continuing education courses to further her education in order to provide the best treatment for your child.

Dr. Meghanne is proud to be a member of The American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

When she's not taking care of patients, Dr. Meghanne loves spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two children, Jude and Marlowe. Being a mom and working full-time keeps her pretty busy, but in her spare time, she loves taking trips to Disneyland with her family, baking, cooking, and hosting friends for dinner.

The staff is always happy and interact with kids

As a child I had a horrible experience with a dentist and that experience has made me terrified of any dental exams or dental work. I did not want my children to ever feel scared of the dentist. It was one of the most important goals for me, as a mom, to find a dentist my kids love. And with PASS pediatric dentistry we did. Dr Meghanne is the best dentist ever! I have taken my kids to her for over 7 years and they LOVE her and the entire staff. My children look forward to their check ups. Any dental work they need, they are NEVER afraid or worried. Dr Meghanne is so patient and kind. The staff is always happy and interact with kids. Her office is SO inviting and fun. Furthermore, the office is ALWAYS spotlessly clean. Being the “germaphobe” I am, it is super important that I take my kids to a safe clean dentist. PASS pediatric dentistry always sparkles. So blessed to have them for my kids dental needs.
